陳情令 令人折服的命名4 - 江澄 Admirable Naming 4 - Jiang Cheng

　　江澄，字晚吟；作為配角，連名字都配得這麼好的，實在少見。

　　Jiang Cheng's courtesy name is Wanyin. As a supporting role, even the name echoes the protagonist, which is really rare.

　　江澄的「澄」和藍湛的「湛」字，都是清澈的意思。劇中的江澄被刻畫得像水一般，容易被外人導引思考並影響心情。當然他也如同水一般，透過對白映射出主角自己未查覺出的內心。

　　Jiang Cheng's "Cheng (澄)" and Lan Zhan's "Zhan (湛)" and both have "clear (清澈), lit: water so clear you can see the bottom" meanings. Jiang Cheng in the play is portrayed like water, which is easy to be guided by outsiders to think and affect his mood. Of course, he is also like water, reflecting the undetected inner heart of the protagonist through the dialogue.

　　另一個讓人讚嘆的是與澄同音的「橙」，有橘色的意思，在傳統的RYB顏色模型中藍色的互補色正是橘色。作畫時，互補色的運用可增加畫面的視覺強度，使畫面生動有趣。

　　"Cheng (橙)", which has the same sound as "Cheng (澄)", means orange. In the traditional RYB color model, the complementary color of blue is orange. When painting, the use of complementary colors can increase the visual intensity of the picture, making the picture vivid and interesting.

　　劇中藍湛話不多，除了藍家人外，很少跟魏嬰以外的人說話。江澄對白雖然比較多，但偏偏是刀子口，尤其是駡人時，一句比一句毒，反而烘托出藍湛無語的細膩。藍湛以忘機琴，問靈十三載的尋找魏嬰，而江澄則是十六年來，用紫電抽打了每個被他懷疑是被魏嬰奪舍的人，一樣是找人，做法卻是溫柔與暴力的鮮明對比。

　　In the play, Lan Zhan doesn't talk much. Except for the Lan family, he rarely talks to anyone other than Wei Ying. Although Jiang Cheng had a lot of dialogues, the words he said were always sharp, highlighting Lan Zhan's speechless and delicate. For finding Wei Ying, Lan Zhan asking the spirit by playing Wangji Qin, while Jiang Cheng uses Purple Lightening to whip everyone he suspects has been possessed body by Wei Ying. The same is to find someone, but the approach is a sharp contrast between gentleness and violence.

　　最最令人意外的，是在劇末才發現，江澄失去金丹是為了救魏嬰，且到最後他還是沒有讓魏嬰知道這件事，只輕輕的說了句「多保重」。啊～好虐人心的一部戲啊，居然放在最後才讓觀眾看到，是為了呼應他的字「晚吟」嗎？（吟：歌詠，歌誦）

　　The most surprising thing is that it was discovered at the end of the play that Jiang Cheng lost the golden core to save Wei Ying. And in the end, he still didn't let Wei Ying know about it, and just said to himself softly, "Take care." Ah~ A drama that is so abusive, until the end did the audience know the real reason for Jiang Cheng's loss of Jindan. Is it to echo his courtesy name "Wanyin (晚吟), lit: singing for late bloomers"?
